It doesn't make sense that "the scooter will not run with voltage less than 23Volts". As you are riding the scooter, the voltage is drained and will certainly drain below 23V. A scooter should be able to run, even at a low voltage, not only when fully charged. So I am confused here? Why won't my scooter run at 16V? Do you mean the voltage cutoff works by battery capacity?

I just picked up a 1st generation E100 with the thumb throttle and belt drive. I am getting battery voltage reading at the charge port. I am missing a diode on the charge port. What is the value of that diode?

My meter shows 24.6V on the batteries, but will not run the motor. I can power the motor directly from the charger, but cannot power the motor directly from the batteries. I believe the batteries may have enough voltage, but not enough current to run the motor. They are about 3-4 years old. Everything else checks out: I have continuity through the throttle and the brake switch, the reset switch has continuity, and the on/off switch tests out. But like I said, I can make the motor run when connected directly to the charger, but not when connected direct to the batteries. Have you ever checked how many amps it takes to run the motor? 600mA off the charger, but does it need all 600mA? It reminds me of a car battery with 12.4V, but not enough cranking amps to turn over the starter. I may be wrong on this, but it's the only thing that makes sense to me. Hopefully, you can enlighten me more. Thank you.

I have an E100 early model belt drive. The control module (4-connections) is bad, can I use a later one and just use the connections I need? Also could I use a later 4-pin twist throttle and just use 2 pins? Thanks for any help. Andy Wittenborn

Thanks for this video - helped me sort out brake switch and controller testing. Turns out after battery replacement, I just didn't kick off hard enough. Rookie mistake that you shed a spot light on as others here have noted.

Can u slow down a razor e90

Any ideas why my e100 decides to just stop? It will go then after a few yards it will just stop but if i press the reset button and kick off it starts again 🤷‍♂️

Then I came across your RUclips! Voila! Works! I got a steal! I love it! Pretty rough on the asphalt I wish they had a wheel softer for bumps

I had an E100 given to me by a friend. It is set for a quite a while in the batteries were dead. Put new batteries in it still didn't work. I almost gave up and threw in the trash, then I found out from your video that it has the kickoff requirement. I had no idea! Thank you!

Thanks guys. I just watched your video 6 years after you posted it and found the problem was me not reading directions. Rolled the back wheel while holding down the throttle and bam it worked.

Can you help. I have replaced the batteries as the scooter was not going fast at all!. And it's still going a lot slower than it did when we had it. Any idea's what the problem could be.

Wow thank you. Thought the one I just got out of the garbage was broken but I just didn't know about the kick start.

The one I have makes a buzzing sound when power is supposed to engage. Does that mean my electrical controller is done for? Bypassed break switch. Battery's both 13v Spin wheel while throttle is held. Module buzzes. Posted a video here - ruclips.net/video/qX4Oue8XQfY/видео.html

Mine clicks but the scooter still doesn’t go I kick it off pull the throttle all I hear is a click could it be I hooked up the motor back wards

Hi What is the Charging Voltage for the 2 SLA's in series, I ask this is because the Max charge of an SLA after cycle is 13.8 which makes 27.6V. So do the Chargers that come with the scooter put out a lower voltage (26V) as per your statement of 13V per Battery. So what is the MAximum Voltage this Scooter controller can Handle? Thanks.

I got my scooter running but it doesn't start up every time I kick off. It works intermittently and doesn't run continuously for a long time while I'm holding the throttle. I just replaced the batteries. Any way I can fix that problem?
